Many eyes will be focused on the three QF’s being played this Sunday. All intriguing encounters, the season maintains a strong focus with something significant still on the table. Four out of the six teams on show are from a very strong Division One, obviously proving that we were right in our predictions that they, in all probability, could have lived comfortably in a higher division. Still, it could also be said that the competition for promotion places has spurred each of them on to new heights.

This weekend’s QF action

Semi Final Line Up

(Real Dagenham or BSL vs Weare Utd) vs (South Ilford Catholics or Barkingside Sunday)

(Newbury Forest or FC Leytonstone) vs (Global or Gants Hill)

Division One

There is one game, an evenly matched face off in Rainham as the Workies [LLWLWW] welcome Debden Sports [LDWWDL] There’s a gaggle of clubs around the third place area and both will be aiming to stay in touch.

Division Two

BSL (5) vs Essex Minors (7) Double Header [WLWWWD-WLWLLL]

Cardinals Ath (4) vs Hainault Ath (2) [WWWWDW-WWWLLW]

Debden Sports ‘A’ (8) vs Barking Colts (9) [LLLLLL-LLLLWD]

Looking to be a good day as the standout game of this division sees an in-form Cardinals host Hainault, who are looking to see their early season climb begin to stutter a bit.

Three of the other sides on show today will be aiming not to finish in the wooden spoon position. A good day for football though.
