So glad most teams are still taking part in the league campaigns and the Second Division is hotting up to boiling point already. Cardinals pulled off a shock victory at EMH and proved that there are still many horses left in this race.
Two games on the first date back after lockdown.
Everyone seems to be chomping at the bit to get back on the field and Belfry, in their debut season, have a chance to climb the table and be in the top 4 by midday. Two wins and two losses so far is a balanced season but the visit of Barking Colts with no form for any team suggests that whoever has retained fitness and a desire to see the return of grassroots football will probably walk away with the points. it will be a shock if the Colts can pull it off but never rule it out…..just ask EMH.
In the other fixture, SFN will be looking to extend their run and push towards promotion. So strong is their campaign that they are already thinking big and that’s not a bad thing. but they will face the unpredictable cardinals who will bask in the glory of defeating the runaway leaders at the time and know they have what it takes to pull off another big result. Probably going to be the game of the day so all eyes will be on this result at full time.
